To Change the Color Scheme in Windows 7, you must follow these steps: 1. Right-click the desktop and choose Personalize. 2. In the resulting Personalization window, click the Window Color button to display the Window Color and Appearance dialog box. 3. Select items one by one from the Item drop-down list. Make any changes you wish by using the Size, Color, and Font settings. 4. Click OK to accept the settings and then click the Close button to close the Personalization dialog box. When customizing a windows color scheme, be aware that not all screen elements allow you to modify all settings. For example, setting an Application Background doesn’t make the Font setting available — because it’s just a background setting. Makes sense, right? Some colors are easier on the eyes than others. For example, green is more restful to look at than orange. Choose a windows 7 color scheme that’s pleasant to look at and easy on the eyes!
