When you are satisfied with the appearance of your windows desktop, you can save the settings as a theme. A theme incorporates the following settings:

• Color and appearance choices.

• Color schemes.

• Sound schemes.

• Mouse pointer schemes.

• Advanced appearance settings.

• Screen saver choice.

These settings are all unique to your account, so things like screen resolution, which is a global setting, will need manual changing.

To save your settings as a theme:

1. Right click the desktop, and click Personalize.

2. Click Save theme.

3. Give your theme a name

You can restore a saved theme, by clicking on the theme name under My themes.
